Online Math Teacher Job Opportunity

Jade Class Education Singapore is hiring energetic, confident, and adaptable educators for upcoming English-language programs. We seek top-quality teachers committed to a fixed schedule running from early September through January, with spring opportunities available.

School Overview

JadeClass Education Singapore provides enrichment education to bright students aged 6-16 who possess a good command of English and plan to continue their education abroad. Students are carefully screened for English level, behavior, and motivation. We focus on teaching concrete skills. We are seeking talented teachers to deliver live online classes based on materials prepared by our development staff.

Compensation

Pay is competitive, ranging from 75-100 USD per class (covering prep time, pre-class recorded practice, and live class).

• New Lesson Rate: $100 per 90-minute lesson ($66 USD per hour).
• Repeated Lesson Rate: $75 per 90-minute lesson ($50 USD per hour).

Remuneration is processed monthly, between the 10th and the 12th, through Wise (wise.com).

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-energy online classes in a 1 teacher to 8 student (1 on 8) format.
• Review materials and participate in practice sessions to ensure quality.
• Complete a series of classes without absences or rescheduling.

Schedule (Fall 2025 Semester)

Classes run from September through January. Teaching days are Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays (UTC+8).

• September – January: Fri 16:30 – 20:30 (UTC+8)
• Sat, Sun 08:30 – 20:30 (UTC+8)

Course Format

Our Small Group Online Courses utilize the ClassIn (classin.com) platform. Each week, the class meets for two 90-minute lessons. Lessons are fully prepared by our design team, and recordings from past semesters are provided to clarify teaching expectations. Interaction includes multiple choice activities, student-submitted written work, and direct oral interaction.

• Fast, reliable internet (~20mbps up and down).
