Overview
JadeClass Education Singapore offers Writing and Analysis courses providing enrichment education to bright students aged 6-16. These students already have a strong command of English and are focusing on written English skills with the goal of continuing their education abroad. Students are carefully screened for English level, behavior, and motivation. We emphasize teaching concrete skills to support their learning endeavors.
IMPORTANT: A video introduction is mandatory for application consideration.
Job Responsibilities
Our Writing and Analysis courses pair one teacher with up to eight students for a semester-length course covering topics such as story analysis, persuasive writing, narrative writing, analytical writing, and literature analysis.
Lesson materials are provided by our design team and are classroom-ready. Grading and student support outside of the classroom are handled by our in-house staff.
- Develop and deliver well-planned, engaging online classes in a 1-on-8 format.
- Create, test, and revise lesson materials conforming to JadeClass standards.
- Commit to developing a full course consisting of 15 lessons.
Schedule
Development meetings can take place online on the ClassIn platform (classin.com) any day of the week between 08:00 and 20:00 UTC +8 (Singapore time).
Lessons take place on the weekends during the fall and spring terms, and Monday through Saturday during the summer term.
For the Fall 2025 semester (September through January), teaching days are:
- Friday 16:30 – 20:30 (UTC+8)
- Saturday, Sunday 08:30 – 20:30 (UTC+8)
Compensation
- Course Development: $360 USD per newly developed lesson. This includes in-class materials, homework, grading keys, and supplementary materials.
- Teaching Hours: Paid separately at $75 USD per 90-minute lesson.
Remuneration is processed monthly, between the 10th and the 12th of each month, through Wise (wise.com).

Technology Requirements
- Fast and stable internet connection (≥ 20 Mbps).
