Online English Writing and Analysis Course Developer - All Levels

Overview

JadeClass Education Singapore offers Writing and Analysis courses for enrichment education to bright students with a strong command of English. These courses focus on written English, preparing students for education abroad. Our students, aged 6-16, are carefully screened for English level, behavior, and motivation. We teach concrete skills to aid their learning endeavors.

Job Responsibilities

Our Writing and Analysis courses feature one teacher per group of up to eight students for a semester-long study. Topics include story analysis, story writing, persuasive writing, narrative writing, analytical writing, and literature analysis.

Lesson materials are provided by our design team and are classroom-ready; teachers only need to review and teach them. Grading and student support outside the classroom are handled by our in-house staff. All materials, from presentations and in-class activities to homework, tests, and keys with standardized comments, are created during development so courses can be taught and supported independently.

• Develop and deliver well-planned, engaging online classes in a 1-on-8 format.
• Create, test, and revise lesson materials conforming to JadeClass standards.
• Commit to developing a full course of 15 lessons.

• Perfect oral grammar and clear enunciation.

Schedule

Development meetings can take place any day of the week online on the ClassIn platform between 08:00 and 20:00 UTC+8 (Singapore time). Lessons occur on weekends during the fall and spring, and Monday-Saturday during the summer.

For the Spring 2027 semester, classes will run from late February through late June with teaching days on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.

• February – June: Fri 16:30 – 20:30 (UTC+8)
• Sat, Sun 08:30 – 20:30 (UTC+8)

Compensation

• 360 USD per newly developed lesson – includes in-class materials, homework, grading keys, and supplementary materials.
• Teaching hours are paid separately – 75 USD per 90-minute lesson.
• Remuneration is through Wise between the 10th and the 12th of each month.

Technology Requirements

• Fast & stable internet connection (≥ 20 Mbps).
