Online English Writing and Analysis Course Developer - All Levels

Overview

JadeClass Education Singapore offers enrichment courses in Writing and Analysis for bright students aged 6-16. These courses are designed for students with a strong command of English who aim to improve their written English for further education abroad. Students are carefully screened for English proficiency, behavior, and motivation. Our focus is on teaching concrete skills essential for academic success.

IMPORTANT: Applications without a video introduction will not be considered.

Job Responsibilities

Our Writing and Analysis courses feature one teacher per group of up to eight students for a semester-long study. Topics include story analysis, story writing, persuasive writing, narrative writing, analytical writing, and literature analysis.

Lesson materials are provided by our design team, ready for classroom use. Teachers only need to review and deliver the lessons. Grading and student support outside of class are handled by our in-house staff, ensuring courses can be taught independently. This includes presentations, in-class activities, homework, tests, and standardized comment keys.

• Develop and deliver well-planned, engaging online classes in a 1-on-8 format.
• Create, test, and revise lesson materials according to JadeClass standards.
• Commit to developing a full course of 15 lessons.

Schedule

Development meetings are held online on the ClassIn platform any day of the week, between 08:00 and 20:00 UTC +8 (Singapore time). Lessons are scheduled on weekends during fall and spring semesters, and Monday-Saturday during the summer.

For the Summer 2026 semester, classes will run from early July through late August. Classes meet twice per week, either Monday and Thursday, or Wednesday and Saturday, between 08:30 and 20:30 Singapore time.

• July-August: Mon, Thurs 08:30 – 20:30 (UTC+8)
• Wed, Sat 08:30 – 20:30 (UTC+8)

Compensation

• 360 USD per newly developed lesson, including in-class materials, homework, grading keys, and supplementary materials.
• Teaching hours are paid separately: 75 USD per 90-minute lesson.
• Remuneration is processed through Wise between the 10th and 12th of each month.

Technology Requirements

• Fast & stable internet connection (≥ 20 Mbps).
