Xpress Automation seeks a remote .NET Software Engineer with Azure expertise to join multidisciplinary teams on global automotive technology projects. This role involves working on an automotive software technology stack for enterprise clients and leading top-tier engineering teams. Candidates must possess 5+ years of experience with multiple Azure .NET technologies, demonstrating responsibility for technical implementation of business objectives and fostering partnerships within XA Group's technical leadership. You will own AI, IoT, .NET, and Analytics microservices and their SLAs, participating in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to service level agreements. We are looking for an engineer who is proficient in both coding and code review.
Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements and create comprehensive development plans.
- Write clean, testable code using .NET programming languages.
- Develop technical specifications and robust architecture.
- Test and debug various .NET applications.
- Review and refactor code to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Deploy fully functional applications.
- Upgrade existing programs and systems.
- Support and mentor junior developers.
- Document development and operational procedures.
- Manage data governance and API governance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in .NET software development.
- Proficiency in building .NET microservices for API/SDK-first and headless applications, utilizing event-based architecture with pub/sub and webhook techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one .NET language (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET).
- Familiarity with database technologies and system design for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, with a preference for Azure.
- Familiarity with agile development environments.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication skills; English level: Upper-Intermediate+ (B2+).
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Node.js.
- Experience with PHP.
