This is a 3-year, 100% remote contract role in Canada for a Moodle Developer Analyst responsible for the analysis, design, development, and integration of functionalities within the Moodle online learning platform using Agile Scrum. As an IT Development Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, development (using Agile Scrum methodology), and integration activities within the MOODLE environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze functionalities provided by MOODLE software and align them with user needs.
- Adjust functionalities provided by MOODLE.
- Develop integration interfaces with external modules.
- Perform installation and configuration of MOODLE environments.
- Document, monitor, and correct technical malfunctions within MOODLE.
- Assist with performance measurements and incident resolution.
- Produce documentation for developments, support, and implementation procedures.
- Perform all other related tasks.
Required Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in software solution development.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with the Moodle online learning platform.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP, XHTML/HTML, MySQL, CSS, and JavaScript (including jQuery and Bootstrap libraries).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in object-oriented programming.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in database modeling.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Linux operating systems and Docker.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development within a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL).
- Experience working on at least one major project using Agile methodology.
