Middle/Senior Developer

We are in an exciting growth phase and are now looking for a mid/senior-level developer who wants to join us in building the next generation of our services. You write production code that is actually used, work AI-first in your daily life, and thrive with both customer contact and modern web development.

About the role

As a developer with us, you work AI-first and further develop our platforms, modernize the codebase, and ensure that we deliver stable, scalable solutions. The role combines hands-on development with customer contact and great personal responsibility.

We have offices in central Stockholm and Borås, but the role is location-independent within Sweden/EU – the most important thing is that we find the right person. You work in a product-close environment where you are expected to both write good code and be involved in understanding why we build what we build.

Your main responsibilities include

• Develop and maintain our products with a focus on backend (PHP) and modern frontend (JavaScript).
• Write structured, testable code and contribute to a long-term sustainable architecture.
• Modernize/refactor parts of an existing codebase and perform migrations for customers.
• Work closely with product, operations, and customer teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Have direct contact with customers in technical dialogues, e.g., regarding integrations and migrations.
• Use AI tools as a natural part of the development workflow, not just as a complement.
• Contribute to our development processes, e.g., CI/CD and container-based development.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have

• Documented experience with production code with real users.
• Strong experience in backend development in PHP.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frontend.
• Ability to write structured, testable code and understanding of long-term system maintenance.
• An AI-first way of working.
• Confidence in direct customer contact and the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.
• Fluent Swedish or English.

It is a strong advantage if you also have:

• Experience with modernization/refactoring of legacy code.
• Clear product thinking and experience in SaaS environments.
• Experience with container-based development and CI/CD.
• Previous responsibility for smaller technical projects or implementations for customers.

As a bonus, we would like you to have:

• Background or interest in the research world.
• Experience introducing new ways of working or technologies to a team.
