Middle/Senior Full Stack Developer, Research Administration (Remote/Borås)

We are seeking an experienced developer to shape the future of research administration technology.

About the Role

As a Developer at Minso Solutions, you will work across the entire stack, utilizing backend technologies like PHP and Go, alongside modern frontend solutions. You will be a key member of our development team, building robust, user-friendly systems relied upon daily by thousands of researchers. This position is primarily for remote work, with optional office access available in Borås upon request.

Key Responsibilities: What You Will Do

• Create: Develop new features and enhance existing functionalities, ranging from database optimization to intuitive user interfaces. Influence technical decisions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Modernize: Update and refactor existing systems. Transform legacy code into modern, scalable architecture, driving our platform toward future technical solutions.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the product team, fellow developers, and customers to deliver solutions that precisely meet user needs. We prioritize knowledge sharing and mutual learning.
• Develop: Engage in exciting modernization projects, continuously updating our technology stack and migrating from older solutions. Introduce new working methods and technologies to elevate team performance.
• Impact: Your solutions are used daily by researchers across Sweden, directly streamlining research administration and freeing up valuable time for critical research activities.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a system development professional passionate about creating well-built, maintainable code. You must have experience delivering production code that is actively used and understand the requirements for building long-term, sustainable systems. You thrive in collaborative environments where all voices are heard. Experience with older codebases and modernization projects is a significant advantage.

Required Skills & Experience

• Documented experience writing code actively used by end-users in production.
• Solid experience in PHP development.
• Experience in modern frontend development using JavaScript.
• Ability to write structured, testable code.
• Understanding of system architecture and design patterns.
• Fluent in written and spoken Swedish or English.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and further developing systems over a longer period.
• Knowledge of Go programming language.
• Experience with container-based development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience working with SaaS solutions.
• Interest in or experience with the research world.
