Responsibilities and Assignments

• Customize, test, and implement solutions on the LMS platform.
• Create and personalize plugins, themes, and integrations via API (PHP, HTML/CSS/JS).
• Work with relational databases (MySQL).
• Perform testing and code debugging for developed solutions.
• Monitor performance and apply improvements (caching, query optimization).
• Support the team in maintaining legacy applications.
• Support the team in developing new solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify, and correct bugs.
• Perform version updates for Moodle and its components.
• Participate in code review and ensure software quality.
• Learn and apply development best practices.
• Document code and processes for developed solutions.
• Participate in planning sessions with the team.
• Attend meetings with business areas alongside the team.
• Participate in meetings and discussions to define requirements and development strategies.
• Support other team members.
• Stay updated on new technologies and market trends.
• Be proactive in problem-solving and adaptable to changes in the work environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with Moodle.
• Experience with PHP.
• Experience with web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of relational databases, such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with code versioning (Git).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Proactivity and adaptability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in unit testing.
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of design patterns.
• Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Specialization courses and certifications.
