About the position
Fotop is the largest event photography platform in Brazil and is present in thousands of sports events, festivals, and experiences throughout the country. We process millions of photos and offer our users a fast, intelligent, and integrated experience.
We are looking for a senior developer with a focus on PHP, but who also has familiarity with other layers of the stack — especially web front-end and cloud services. If you are a proactive person with autonomy and the ability to propose scalable technical solutions, this position may be for you.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain functionalities in high-volume PHP systems;
- Work together with the product and design team to implement end-to-end solutions;
- Participate in technical decisions and propose improvements in system architecture;
- Act with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
Mandatory requirements
- Solid experience with PHP;
- Experience with Node.js;
- Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS);
- Relational database (preferably MySQL);
- HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Bootstrap;
- Advanced use of Git in daily work;
- Basic knowledge of Linux.
Differentials (not mandatory)
- Modern front-end: React.js or React Native;
- Serverless architectures;
- Use of Redis.
