Mid-Level Kotlin Developer, E-commerce Platforms (PicPay Negócios)

PicPay Negócios Unit

The PicPay Negócios unit focuses on simplifying the lives of sellers, from large corporations to small entrepreneurs. You will contribute to the construction and development of products and services that simplify life for millions of Brazilian individuals and companies.

Responsibilities and Attributions

We are seeking a Mid-Level Kotlin Developer to join the E-commerce platforms team focused on PJ Acceptance (Acceptance for Legal Entities).

• Responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of platforms that serve the products.
• Build solutions adhering to high code quality standards.
• Create functionalities prioritizing performance and security.
• Implement tests for improved maintenance.
• Maintain service documentation.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Mastery of Kotlin for Backend development.
• Mastery of Springboot, Batch, and Data technologies.
• Mastery of good microservices architecture (including performance, resilience, scalability, service communication, and circuit breaker patterns).
• Strong understanding of observability concepts (logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerts).
• Mastery of concepts necessary for developing quality code (SOLID, YAGNI, DRY, Dependency Injection, unit tests, design patterns).
• Experience with AWS and its main services (SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda, Step Functions).
• Knowledge of PHP.
• Experience implementing resilience patterns (Retries, circuit breaker, idempotence).
