The Opportunity: Java Backend Developer
We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our collaborative team. This role offers the chance to propose improvements, contribute to technical decisions, and actively drive product evolution. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve existing systems, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Gather and analyze requirements for new feature development.
- Collaborate on architectural decisions and technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and support quality assurance practices (cross tests).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Share knowledge and best practices with the development team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java (preferably 3+ years).
- Proven experience developing REST APIs.
- Proficiency in unit testing.
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles and Clean Code.
- Database experience, including:
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
- NoSQL databases (a significant advantage).
- Version control expertise with Git.
- Basic knowledge of Linux.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containers (Docker).
- Understanding of messaging and event-driven architecture.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS).
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum).
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of Hibernate (ORM).
