Responsibilities and Attributions
- Evolutionary and Corrective Maintenance: Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on legacy systems developed in PHP (backend) and React (frontend), ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with business needs.
- Problem Analysis and Resolution: Identify bugs, investigate root causes, and implement efficient solutions.
- Improvement Development: Implement improvements in existing functionalities and address new business demands.
- API and Service Integration: Ensure correct integration of PHP systems with external APIs, databases, and other systems.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain updated documentation, describing changes and evolutions made.
- Team Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams, such as QA, product, and other developers, to ensure aligned and quality deliveries.
- Good Development Practices: Apply good practices for versioning, design patterns, and code review, even in a legacy environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
What will be necessary for our perfect match:
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Proven practical experience of at least three years in the development and maintenance of PHP applications, especially in legacy systems.
- Solid knowledge of Laravel Framework.
- Experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with versioning tools (Git) and continuous integration practices.
- Ability to work with legacy code, refactoring when necessary.
- Good communication and collaborative spirit to work in a team.
- Analytical, resilient profile with a focus on problem-solving.
- Knowledge of Azure Devops is a plus.
