The Opportunity
The person will be responsible for developing generic abstractions for internal teams, developing and maintaining pipelines, defining technical standards to be used in projects, studying new technologies, and supporting other teams with technical questions and building new features.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop queries with an appropriate level of complexity, apply query optimizations, and make modifications to database tables;
- Deliver well-documented code to facilitate understanding and maintenance;
- Implement measures to ensure application security;
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality;
- Demonstrate familiarity with Git tool workflows and the ability to investigate change history;
- Provide support to other developers based on established rules.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Completed or ongoing degree in Information Systems, Analysis and Systems Development (ADS), or related fields;
- Experience in PHP with a focus on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP);
- Experience in Reactjs;
- Experience with relational databases, especially Postgres;
- Familiarity and experience with Agile Methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban;
- Experience with version control tools, especially Git;
- Knowledge of Docker and Linux;
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
You will stand out if you have:
- Intermediate/advanced English;
- Knowledge of non-relational databases;
- Previous experience with the Symfony framework.
