The Opportunity
We are seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java/React Developer to join SoftExpert's development team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and evolution of software solutions, utilizing technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, React, and SQL. You will also focus on code quality improvements and resolving technical challenges.
Responsibilities and attributions
- Develop and maintain backend functionalities using Java with Spring Boot.
- Develop and enhance frontend interfaces with React.
- Create and maintain SQL queries across various databases.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality.
- Investigate and resolve bugs and performance issues, including log analysis.
- Create and maintain database migration scripts.
- Contribute to the technical documentation of functionalities.
Requirements and qualifications
- Experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot (REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, dependency injection).
- Experience with React (functional components, Hooks, Redux, Immutable.js).
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit 5, Mockito, and Jest.
- Knowledge of Git, GitLab, merge requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
You will stand out if you have
- Experience with PHP for legacy system maintenance.
- Knowledge of Liquibase for database migrations.
- Experience with Datadog or other observability/APM tools.
- Familiarity with file manipulation libraries such as MPXJ and Apache POI.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence tools applied to software development.
