Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain PHP (7.4+) back-end applications using MVC architecture, ensuring code quality, organization, and performance.
- Perform maintenance and evolution of legacy systems, including structural refactoring for improved readability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain front-end interfaces with ExtJS and/or VueJS, ensuring optimal user experience and efficient back-end integration.
- Build, integrate, and maintain secure, high-performance REST APIs for system and service communication.
- Analyze existing code to identify opportunities for improvement, standardization, and technical debt reduction.
- Contribute to best software engineering practices, including clean code, code review, testing, and version control.
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to define technical solutions, offering technical insights and improvement proposals.
- Investigate and propose enhancements for application performance, stability, and quality based on system usage data.
- Support the evolution of system architecture and technological modernization initiatives.
- Work with the team to strengthen the culture of quality, security, and development best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Completed Higher Education in Technology or related fields (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics).
- Solid experience in PHP (7.4+) development with MVC architecture.
- Experience in maintaining, refactoring, and modernizing legacy systems.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ExtJS, or modern front-end frameworks (e.g., VueJS).
- Strong command of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and pipeline automation.
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Knowledge or experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Understanding of Clean Code principles and best practices in software architecture.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
- Proven ability to analyze and improve existing code, identifying refactoring and standardization opportunities.
- Knowledge of ERP systems or financial workflows is a plus.
