Responsibilities and Attributions
- Develop and maintain scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend services.
- Design and implement system and API integrations, ensuring reliability and high availability.
- Monitor application metrics, logs, and indicators to identify opportunities for performance, stability, and user experience improvements.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to define and deliver valuable user solutions.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of applications, promoting best development practices and engineering standards.
- Analyze complex software problems and propose efficient, sustainable solutions.
- Enhance code quality through reviews, testing, and continuous application improvement.
- Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and approaches to advance company products and processes.
- Support the definition and implementation of business rules and integration with internal and external services.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Solid experience with Java development.
- Experience with REST API development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL database.
- Experience with automated testing, specifically JUnit.
- Proficiency in version control using Git.
- Experience with socket programming and client/server communication.
- Experience with concurrent programming in Java, including threads, concurrency control, and synchronization.
- Knowledge of distributed systems concepts such as messaging, pub/sub, transactions, and inter-service communication.
- Understanding of data structures and system architecture.
- Experience applying good software engineering practices, including Clean Code and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with Web Scraping and data collection automation.
- Familiarity with AI for code, code review, testing, and documentation using Claude Code (preferred).
- Desirable: Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Desirable: Experience with frontend frameworks like Vue.js and interface libraries.
- Desirable: Experience with PHP.

Schedule:
Workday: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 12:00 | 13:30 to 18:00.
Work Mode: Home office.
