Mendix Developer, Contractor
Join our rapidly growing company as a Mendix Developer, shaping the future of software development. We are seeking a mid-level consultant, software engineer, or product manager with a strong understanding of complex architecture and technical development tasks. You will efficiently develop, diagram, and deliver solutions for an outstanding customer experience, leveraging your expertise in the Mendix Development platform.
This role is primarily remote (90% work from home) with occasional travel for workshops or client engagements. Your mission involves helping clients build world-class solutions, systems, and applications using Low Code / No Code tools. Must be available for at least 6 hours Eastern Standard Time alignment.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and drive client project development to completion using Low Code / No Code tools.
- Execute development tasks within the Mendix platform.
- Create wireframes and data models to communicate application design.
- Perform quality control development across the full stack.
- Coordinate and liaise with UX Designers.
- Communicate development progress to stakeholders.
- Conduct demos for client stakeholders and internally.
- Liaise with project managers to communicate status and blockers.
- Collaborate with Technology partners to understand, execute, and improve best practices.
- Become an expert in other Low Code / No Code platforms.
- Effectively manage remote team members to meet client goals.
- Be willing to accept an expanded role and increased responsibility as the company grows.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in consulting, business process, or software development.
- 3 years of development experience with Mendix.
- Familiarity with general business process concepts such as purchasing, sales, manufacturing, finance, and insurance.
- Experience working on IT Projects or building SaaS Companies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work from home up to 90% and travel up to 10%.
- Bachelor’s degree or minor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Decision Information Science, Business, or a related program, or equivalent work experience in application development.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and other integration technologies.
Other Preferred Skills
- Held a similar role in an IT-focused consulting services company.
- Strong understanding of data and systems.
- Familiarity with common development languages such as C#, Javascript, React, React Native, Angular, Swift, PHP.
- Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) concepts as they relate to applications.
- Certified in agile framework and associated scrum methodology.
- Low Code / No Code Development experience.

Pay: From $55.00 per hour
