As a Backend Developer, you will implement solutions, dive into challenging projects, develop APIs, model databases, and optimize the performance of our applications. You will work together with the team to ensure code quality and the scalability of our systems, evaluating and identifying appropriate solutions to reduce risks and negative impacts of the product on the customer.

Responsibilities and Duties:
How your day-to-day will be:
Among the daily tasks, we can highlight:
- Cause a real impact on the lives of thousands of merchants, architecting solutions that optimize the national e-commerce and logistics ecosystem;
- Work in Squads that use agile methodologies to deliver constant value to our customers;
- Architect and develop technology solutions with a focus on integrating package logistics solutions, applying best practices to contribute to scalability, security, and quality;
- Ensure the quality of the ecosystem through critical code reviews (Code Review), mentoring Level I developers and promoting best engineering practices;
- Perform software maintenance, prioritizing the security and quality of projects;
- Proactively monitor the health of systems in production (Observability), anticipating incidents and proposing continuous improvements;
- Validate the technical feasibility of new products and assist in backlog prioritization, balancing technical debt with new features;
- Manage the continuous delivery cycle (CI/CD), ensuring secure and automated deploys;
- Optimize the development workflow using AI assistants (such as Cursor or Claude Code) to accelerate repetitive code writing, test generation, and documentation, ensuring you have more time to focus on architecture and complex business problems;
- Use AI tools analytically to assist in diagnosing bugs in distributed systems, task planning, and performance analysis, ensuring that the tool's proposals are submitted to your technical evaluation and comply with the good practices established by the team;
- Actively participate in the evolution of the squad's agile methodologies, going beyond ceremonies and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, aiming for more predictable and high-quality deliveries;
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, staying up-to-date on market trends (such as new versions of Laravel and AI tools) and sharing this knowledge through mentorships, Tech Talks, or technical documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed, you will need:
- Solid experience in backend software development in high-demand environments;
- Solid experience with PHP and the Laravel framework;
- Mastery of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL);
- Practical experience with Docker in development;
- Knowledge of Software Engineering: Clean Architecture, SOLID, Design Patterns (GoF), and automated testing (TDD/BDD);
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of web technologies and their main protocols and standards such as: TCP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, SSH, FTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, WebSocket, OAuth, JWT, RESTful;
- Solid experience with collaborative workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket);
- Resolving and analytical profile: Ability to diagnose complex problems in distributed systems and propose definitive solutions.
We will love it if you have:
- Familiarity with Golang in service development;
- Experience in AWS: Mastery of services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB;
- Practice in Observability: Use of tools such as New Relic, Datadog, ELK Stack, or OpenTelemetry;
- Experience with Event-Driven Architectures and messaging;
- Focus on Security: Practical knowledge in DevSecOps and vulnerability mitigation (OWASP Top 10);
- Experience with NoSQL Databases: MongoDB or Redis for distributed caching strategies;
- Experience in High Availability environments.
