As a Backend Developer, you will implement solutions, dive into challenging projects, develop APIs, model databases, and optimize the performance of our applications. You will work together with the team to ensure code quality and the scalability of our systems, evaluating and identifying appropriate solutions to reduce risks and negative impacts of the product on the customer.

How your day-to-day will be:

Among the daily tasks, we can highlight:

  • Contribute directly to building a product that optimizes national e-commerce freight logistics, causing a real impact on people's lives;
  • Work in squads that use agile methodologies to deliver constant value to our customers;
  • Collaborate on the development of new features, following the architecture and best practices defined by the team, focusing on your development and code quality;
  • Actively participate in Code Review sessions, focusing on individual technical evolution and maintaining the team's quality standard;
  • Perform preventive maintenance and bug fixing, using the debugging process to deepen knowledge in the business domain;
  • Support the monitoring of applications in production, using observability tools to ensure our services are always available;
  • Help the team with technical analysis and task refinement, using AI tools (Claude Code) to accelerate productivity and code precision;
  • Participate in planning and the delivery cycle, and assist in resolving incidents with the support of more experienced developers;
  • Keep curiosity active, researching and sharing with the team what you are learning about new technologies;
  • Learn a lot and share knowledge.

To succeed, you will need:

  • Knowledge in programming logic and backend web development (personal, academic projects, or previous experiences);
  • Knowledge in PHP with a focus on the Laravel framework;
  • Knowledge in relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL);
  • Familiarity with Docker for running isolated development environments;
  • Genuine interest in applying design patterns (Design Patterns), SOLID principles, and writing automated tests;
  • Understanding of web architecture fundamentals: HTTP Protocol, RESTful APIs;
  • Good interpersonal communication to interact with different areas and clarity to explain technical difficulties;
  • Proactivity and analytical profile to investigate problems autonomously before escalating.

We will love it if you have:

  • Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Lambda, SQS, and RDS);
  • Notions of observability (New Relic, Datadog, or Grafana);
  • Knowledge in Deploy and CI/CD strategies (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI);
  • Interest in event-driven architectures and messaging;
  • Curiosity about application security and OWASP Top 10 practices;
  • Familiarity with MongoDB;
  • Curiosity about high-availability software development;
  • Knowledge in NodeJS/NestJS or Golang.
