We are seeking a Lead Adobe Commerce Developer to lead a B2B integration delivery and drive a staff augmentation engagement centered on catalog and data connectivity. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of integration architecture, guide technical decision-making, and mentor engineers while ensuring dependable integrations and high-quality releases across backend and frontend tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the integration architecture connecting external catalog sources with Adobe Commerce B2B
  • Lead the design, development, and evolution of integration components using established frameworks and patterns
  • Establish standards for data mappings and transformations of XML and JSON payloads
  • Drive backend development in PHP and ensure database integrity and scalability in MySQL
  • Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex integration issues across environments
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact with stakeholders, aligning technical direction and confirming integration requirements
  • Oversee light frontend work when needed to support integration-related UI changes
  • Establish and maintain technical documentation standards for integration flows and support needs
  • Own the code review process and enforce quality, security, and performance best practices
  • Coordinate release activities and ensure stable, predictable deployments for integration updates
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering engineering excellence

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Adobe Commerce (Magento) development experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a role of a Technical Lead or Team Lead
  • Deep expertise in Adobe Commerce B2B modules
  • Strong background in designing and building Integration Frameworks and system integrations
  • Lead-level ownership, accountability, and ability to drive delivery end-to-end
  • Advanced skills in integrating XML and JSON data formats
  • Expert-level proficiency in PHP development
  • Strong command of MySQL and relational databases, including performance optimization
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to lead independently within a staff augmentation setup
  • Experience mentoring engineers and setting technical standards
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
