We are seeking a Junior WordPress Support Developer to join our dedicated support team. This role focuses on ensuring client websites run smoothly, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing an opportunity to learn from experienced developers in a collaborative environment.
This is an ideal position for individuals with existing WordPress experience who are looking for hands-on experience supporting real clients, enhancing their technical skills, and progressing toward a full-stack developer role over time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Monitor and troubleshoot client WordPress websites effectively.
- Collaborate within the support team to diagnose and resolve minor bugs, plugin conflicts, or performance issues.
- Assist with essential maintenance tasks, including plugin updates and theme adjustments.
- Work alongside senior developers to adopt best practices in WordPress development and support.
- Participate in testing, QA, and debugging processes to maintain site stability and security.
- Document issues and solutions clearly for internal knowledge sharing.
- Provide occasional assistance with small enhancements or internal tools development.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience with WordPress, including building, maintaining, or customizing sites.
- Basic proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with MySQL and fundamental database concepts.
- Proven problem-solving mindset and ability to execute tasks methodically.
- Strong willingness to learn, accept direction, and grow professionally as a developer.
