We are seeking a Junior PHP Developer to support ongoing development, maintenance, and new features across existing systems built in CodeIgniter, Laravel, and core PHP. This is an ideal role for a junior developer looking to gain real-world experience on active commercial projects with support and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Working on existing PHP applications built with CodeIgniter and Laravel.
- Assisting with bug fixes, improvements, and small feature development.
- Supporting backend logic and API integrations.
- Working with MySQL / MariaDB databases.
- Following existing code patterns and development workflows.
- Using Git for version control and collaborating via pull requests.
- Assisting with general software, testing, and technical tasks as needed.
- Participating in code reviews and development discussions.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Experience working on existing PHP applications.
- Exposure to Laravel or CodeIgniter.
- Basic understanding of MVC architecture.
- Comfortable fixing bugs and implementing small features.
- Familiarity with MySQL / MariaDB.
- Basic Git usage (clone, commit, push, pull).
