Location and Work Model
Location: Joinville, Santa Catarina
Model: Hybrid - 1 day in-office / 4 days remote

Responsibilities
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on the LIMS system developed in PHP.
- Identify, analyze, and correct bugs reported by the support team and clients.
- Refactor legacy code, applying best practices and improving architecture whenever possible.
- Work with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), creating and optimizing queries.
- Document changes made and keep technical documentation updated.
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to team code improvements.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure system quality, performance, and stability.
- Propose and implement technical improvements that increase application reliability.
- Participate in technical meetings and agile team ceremonies.
Required Knowledge
- PHP: Solid and proven experience.
- MySQL/PostgreSQL: Queries, optimization, and data modeling.
- Git and version control workflows.
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - basic to intermediate level.
- Debugging and complex problem resolution.
- Web security fundamentals (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF).
- Concepts of software architecture and design patterns.
- Linux - basic commands and navigation.
- Clear communication and teamwork.
- Completed or ongoing higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Next.js and modern frontend development.
- Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest).
- Knowledge of design patterns.
- Docker and containerization.
- Redis or other caching solutions.
- RESTful APIs and system integration.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
