The vendor must provide resources who meet the position criteria and can deliver final deliverables meeting time and quality requirements with minimum training needed.
Key Development and Support Responsibilities
Design and develop new web-based applications and support existing applications for the Service Tools Suite (primarily WWSPS, CST). This includes:
- Application Support: Specific support for CVCOL Online course management and the Data Groomr project.
- Customer support for course management, including uploading and managing new courses.
- Handling escalated troubleshooting and ticket processing/closing per agreed SLA.
- Addressing bulk Training ID Merges related to Data Groomr.
- Creating admin screens (or similar) to help scale the support delivery process.

Strategic and Technical Planning
- Stay abreast of web development and underlying technological trends to assist in developing technology upgrade plans (e.g., PCI Compliance upgrades).
- Maintain awareness of emerging technology and software trends, as well as infrastructure tool sets of at least one technology or functional domain.
- Assist in performing evaluation and developing recommendations for new selection and purchase decisions.
- Develop applications interacting with other systems like Warranty, C360, Dealer Onboarding, and IAM.
- Perform functional, performance testing, and troubleshooting of web applications.
System Design and Documentation
- Document system requirements and define the proposed system solution using technical components at a developing level.
- Apply abstract knowledge along with proven methods to create extensible, maintainable, and practical solutions.
- Assist in setting designs and the direction of the technical platform.
- Lead activities related to research, requirements gathering, modeling, visualization, and communication of IT solutions.
- Model existing-state and desired-state system functionality.
- Document the technical system solution required to implement the proposed design.
- Develop standards for the specific function or technology domain and create reusable design patterns and configurations.
Integration and Process Improvement
- Provide subject matter expertise for system integration efforts, troubleshooting implementation issues, and developing/maintaining technology strategy and roadmap direction.
- Participate as a change agent to implement new strategic directions and technology decisions.
- Analyze data on existing processes to identify system conflicts, roadblocks, and bottlenecks.
- Aid in application, technology, and network integration.
- Make process improvement recommendations to developers and managers.
- Provide recommendations to senior architects and managers to identify improvement opportunities and upcoming challenges.
- Develop positive relationships with other functions and IT disciplines to effectively guide the development of cutting-edge IT architecture.
- Release functionalities to users.
Collaboration and Research
High level of collaboration with members of the solution team, actively engaging in:
- Knowledge gathering about existing applications from team members.
- Researching latest technologies pertaining to end-to-end infrastructure related to application building.
