IT Designer & Developer (Oracle DMS Focus)

Join our team working with key account clients in rich and varied environments. We are seeking an experienced IT Designer & Developer to focus on enhancing and maintaining critical internal applications, particularly Oracle-based Document Management Systems (DMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain internal applications, with a strong focus on Oracle-based Document Management Systems.
  • Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for business-critical tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Contribute to both the maintenance of current systems and the design of future architectures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Act as a key contact for application-related issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Document processes, updates, and user support activities.
  • Participate in regular follow-up meetings to track progress and resolve issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for a versatile generalist technical profile capable of supporting the full development cycle, from the data layer to the user interface, including user support.

  • Experience: 6–9 years of experience in IT application development and infrastructure support (minimum 5 years professional IT experience required).
  • Education: Degree in IT or a related field (BAC+3 level).
  • Database Expertise (Oracle): In-depth expertise in relational databases with a specialization in Oracle, including complex schema design, query optimization, and administration. Advanced proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL for developing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
  • Backend Development: Solid experience in PHP for creating applications interfaced with Oracle via OCI8, as well as API development. Ability to design scalable and maintainable backend architectures.
  • Frontend Development: Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, and jQuery for designing user-friendly interfaces, improving user experience, and ensuring compliance with accessibility and security constraints specific to document systems.
  • Scripting & Automation: Advanced skills in PowerShell for automating Windows tasks and application integration, VBA for Office automation, and Bash for administration and automation in Linux.
  • Technical Proficiencies: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, jQuery, Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, PHP, C++, C#, Visual Studio, IIS, Apache, Linux, Bash, PowerShell, Okta, and certificate management.
  • Document Management Knowledge: Understanding of standards, classification, archiving methods, and excellent knowledge of security constraints related to document management.
  • Language Skills: Multilingual fluency in English and French or Dutch (FR/ENG or NL/ENG fluency is preferred).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, proactive learner, collaborative mindset, and clear communication style.

Familiarity with the Sencha JavaScript framework is a plus.
