Intermediate Full Stack Developer

We are seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Developer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our team supporting an enterprise application in the Emergency Grants Management sector. This critical application manages billions of dollars in grant money for disaster recovery and rebuilding efforts (e.g., post-hurricane management), utilized by over twenty states.

Our team maintains this application, currently built primarily on jQuery, ColdFusion, and SQL Server. We are actively dedicating resources to modernize and build new tools using NestJS, Typescript, and React to enhance flexibility and speed up problem-solving. The ideal candidate is proficient in these modern technologies, capable of providing technical leadership, eager to learn and teach, and skilled in designing and implementing modular, scalable, and maintainable systems.

Requirements:

• College and/or University Degree in a computer-related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a professional Software Developer role.
• Practical experience applying best practices across the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code review, and testing.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience writing test coverage for deployed code.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating commitment to individual and team growth.
