What is the Innovation Class Program?
If you are eager to learn the complete lifecycle of e-commerce project development, from interface construction to technical integrations and evolutions, this internship is for you!
We are seeking individuals interested in developing and evolving virtual stores, primarily focusing on the VTEX platform, with an openness to support integrations and technical demands involving backend technologies when necessary.
As part of this program, you will join our Innovation Class, a structured professional training and development initiative.
How Does the Innovation Class Work?
The program is divided into three evolutionary cycles:
1st Cycle – Mentorship
This practical development period is designed to prepare you for real-world e-commerce projects using the VTEX IO platform.
During this stage, you will:
- Learn the main technologies of the VTEX IO platform through practical application.
- Solve challenges inspired by real-world scenarios faced by our teams.
- Explore the functionality of the checkout process and the entire store navigation journey.
- Develop and present a final project, applying acquired knowledge from the mentorship.
2nd Cycle – Adaptation
At this point, you will integrate into one of our teams—Implementation, Support, Labs, or Squad—and begin working on actual projects and demands.
With guidance from leadership and experienced professionals, you will apply the skills developed during mentorship, experiencing the daily routine, processes, and challenges of the area while adapting to the team environment.
3rd Cycle – Technical Development
Once familiar with the team, processes, and daily routine, this cycle focuses on deepening your technical development and expanding practical experience.
In this stage, you will:
- Deepen your knowledge of the technologies and tools utilized by Avanti.
- Work on more complex demands and projects.
- Develop greater autonomy in task execution, always supported by leadership and the team.
- Consolidate best development practices, enhancing the quality of your deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
- Customize and evolve stores on the VTEX platform.
- Support integrations and technical adjustments as needed.
- Perform operational tests (checkout, search, filters, showcase, categories).
- Assist in organizing demands and documenting processes.
- Learn and apply best practices in Digital Commerce.
Prerequisites
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, technologist, or technical course in the IT field.
- Have at least 1 year or more remaining until graduation (candidates with less than 1 year until completion are not eligible).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, Node.js, and React.
- Interest in learning about e-commerce development.
- A curious, collaborative profile with a strong desire to learn.
- Availability for 6 hours (Monday to Friday).
- Possess a suitable remote work setup, including:
- Personal computer capable of development.
- Stable internet connection.
- Appropriate work environment.
Desirable Knowledge
- Familiarity with programming languages (PHP, JAVA, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL).
- Familiarity with APIs and integrations.
- TypeScript and/or GraphQL.
- Understanding of e-commerce development concepts.

We have prepared a training program on the main programming languages. By completing it with discipline and dedication, you will be prepared to participate in the selection process for this program.

Selection Process – Internship Program 2026
The 2026 Internship Program is structured to identify and select talents who align with our values, objectives, and strategic challenges.
Participation in the program is contingent upon approval in all stages of the selection process. Our goal is to ensure a fair, rigorous, and transparent evaluation, providing equal opportunities to all candidates.
Next class schedule:
- June 19: Vacancy disclosure.
- June 22 to July 01: Selection process (profile analysis, HR interviews, technical interview, and technical challenge).
- From July 10: Feedback on the selection process.
During the selection period, our team will analyze registered profiles and proceed with subsequent stages based on each candidate's adherence to the opportunity's requirements. Contacts will be made throughout the process, according to the progress of each stage.
