WHAT IS THE INNOVATION CLASS PROGRAM?

If you want to learn in practice how the complete development of e-commerce projects works — from interface construction to technical integrations and evolutions — this position is for you!

We are looking for someone interested in working on the development and evolution of virtual stores, with a primary focus on the VTEX platform, but open to supporting integrations and technical demands involving backend technologies when necessary.

Here, you will be part of the Innovation Class, our structured professional training and development program.

How does the Innovation Class work?

The program is divided into 3 evolutionary cycles:

1st Cycle – Mentorship

Intensive technical training phase focused on VTEX IO and e-commerce development.

You will go through:

  • Practical study of the platform's main technologies
  • Challenges that simulate real project situations
  • Exploration of the checkout and the complete flow of store pages
  • Development and delivery of a final project

2nd Cycle – Adaptation

Practical integration into one of our teams: Implementation, Support, Labs, or Squad.

You will work on real projects, with the guidance of experienced professionals, having a structured period for adaptation to the area and company processes.

3rd Cycle – Technical Development

Phase of technical evolution and deepening.

Here you will:

  • Improve your knowledge of the technologies used by the company
  • Consolidate good development practices
  • Evolve to become a developer prepared for greater challenges
  • Develop for future opportunities within the company

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and React
  • Work on the customization and evolution of stores on the VTEX platform
  • Support integrations and technical adjustments when necessary
  • Perform operational tests (checkout, search, filters, showcase, categories)
  • Assist in organizing demands and documenting processes
  • Learn and apply best practices in Digital Commerce

Prerequisites

  • Enrolled in a university, technologist, or technical course in the IT area;
  • Have at least 1 year or more of graduation remaining (candidates less than 1 year from completion will not be eligible);
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and React;
  • Interest in learning about e-commerce development;
  • Curious, collaborative profile with a desire to learn.
  • Availability of 6 hours (Monday to Friday)
  • Possess a remote work setup, including: Own computer with development capability, stable internet, and suitable work environment.

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE:

  • Notions of languages (PHP, JAVA, or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL)
  • Familiarity with APIs and integrations
  • TypeScript and/or GraphQL
  • Notion of e-commerce development

Not yet technically ready?

We have prepared training on the main programming languages. By completing it with discipline and dedication, you will be ready to participate in the selection process for the program.
