Ensure the sustainable evolution of the GLPI platform (Community and/or Network), leading technical decisions, governing customizations, and integrating with other systems.
Responsibilities and Attributions
- Define development standards for GLPI plugins and customizations, technically leading the platform's evolution (Community and Network).
- Ensure compatibility with future GLPI versions (upgrade-safe) and avoid reliance on hacks or direct core customizations.
- Develop and implement strategies for using official GLPI plugins and the GLPI Network.
- Create and maintain structured technical documentation.
- Plan critical GLPI version upgrades, evaluating the impact of new releases, plugins, and architectural changes.
- Align the technical roadmap with product and business objectives.
- Define integration standards using REST APIs, Webhooks, and Middleware (as needed).
- Ensure consistency between GLPI and various channels (Teams, WhatsApp, bot), directories (AD/LDAP), and legacy systems.
- Develop and maintain GLPI plugins using PHP.
- Control versions of plugins and customizations.
- Create automation scripts and routines.
- Implement adjustments in forms, tickets, and rules.
- Correct bugs and failures.
- Implement API calls and configure authentications (tokens, OAuth, etc.).
- Create integrations with bots, internal systems, and external services.
- Test new functionalities, validate the impact of changes, and obtain user approval.
- Document functionalities, integrations, and technical procedures, updating wikis or internal repositories.
Requirements and Qualifications
Professional Experience:
- Solid experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
- Proven experience with GLPI (Community and/or Network), including:
- Customization of business rules.
- Development and maintenance of plugins.
- Advanced platform administration.
Knowledge:
- Development with REST APIs.
- Software architecture.
- Database management.
- APIs and integrations.
- ITIL, ITSM, Service Desk principles.
- Agile Management methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
- LGPD (General Data Protection Law) and ethical use of customer data.
- Good communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Practical knowledge of ITIL.
Differentials
- GLPI Certification (Community or Network).
- DevOps experience: Docker, CI/CD, Linux, Security.
- Certifications in PHP, Linux, Cloud, or DevOps.
- Experience with process automation in service centers (ITSM).
