This is a remote work position. As a remote developer, you will collaborate with our development team and other stakeholders using online communication and collaboration tools. Key Responsibilities at AmigoExpress
- Collaborate with the Technical Director and Product Director to implement team-decided requirements.
- Participate in architectural decisions and requirement prioritization alongside other team members.
- Analyze the existing product and propose enhancements to evolve it into the leading carpooling service on the market.
- Deliver concrete, effective solutions.
- Accurately estimate project progress and timelines.
- Engage in code reviews and technical discussions within the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Minimum of 4 years of verifiable experience in software development.
- Professional or university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in PHP, SQL, and MySQL.
- In-depth knowledge of the Laravel 12 framework.
- Extensive experience with the Vue.js 2 framework (or similar frameworks like AngularJS or React).
- Mastery of fundamental front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, and ECMAScript 6.
- Proficiency with dependency management tools (e.g., Composer, npm) and source code management (Git).
- Strong understanding of the importance of robust, tested, and secure code.
Valuable Assets
- Experience with Bash/Linux and L.A.M.P stack.
- Knowledge of S.O.L.I.D development principles.
- Proficiency in TailwindCSS, SASS.
- Awareness of web accessibility best practices.
- Experience managing technical debt (legacy projects) or technological migrations, including tools like Jira and Bitbucket.
- Ability to design and implement unit tests.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

This expertise also contributes to establishing high standards for quality, security, and performance across all team-produced code.
