We are looking for a versatile professional with strong execution capacity to join the technology team of a national reference institution in the Porto area.
This role was designed for someone who values proximity to the business and stability. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the application ecosystem that supports daily operations, ensuring the bridge between software development and the infrastructure that supports it. We are looking for a profile that is comfortable both optimizing backend logic and ensuring that production environments (containers) operate flawlessly.
Functions:
Application Development and Evolution
- Maintenance and development of new functionalities in critical platforms (Backend in PHP and Frontend in React);
- Evolution of existing code, ensuring bug fixing and performance improvements;
- Collaboration in the development of new applications to support the organization's strategy.
Integration and Digital Ecosystem
- Management and maintenance of integrations between systems, namely with ERP Primavera and WordPress platforms;
- Development of APIs and connectors to ensure data fluidity between different business areas;
- Technical interface with external software partners and marketing teams.
Environment Management and Support
- Management and optimization of the application infrastructure based on Docker and Docker Compose;
- Server configuration (Nginx, SSL management, and Reverse Proxy) in a Linux (Ubuntu) environment;
- Collaboration with the internal systems team for adjustments at the application module level in a virtualization environment (Hyper-V).
Profile:
- Solid experience in PHP and React development;
- Good knowledge of Docker and container management in a production environment;
- Experience in Linux (Ubuntu) system administration at the application level;
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL / MariaDB / SQL Server);
- Previous experience with ERP Primavera integrations and technical WordPress management is valued;
- Troubleshooting skills and autonomy to work on legacy code and new functionalities;
- Team spirit and ease of communication with technical and functional profiles;
- Residency in the Porto area and preference for a predominantly in-person work model.
