As a Full Stack Developer in this role, you will design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web and mobile applications. Your work will span end-to-end, covering frontend, backend, and integrations. You will collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions, actively contributing to architectural decisions and development best practices. Joining a distributed and agile team, you will help build performant, secure, and maintainable solutions for regional-scale digital products.
Location Requirement: This position is exclusively open to candidates residing in Mexico. Applications from other countries will not be considered.
What You Can Expect (Responsibilities)
- Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable, and secure web and mobile applications.
- Build intuitive, performant, and reusable user interfaces using leading frontend technologies like React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Design and implement robust backend services with Node.js (NestJS) and/or Laravel (PHP).
- Integrate applications with REST APIs and GraphQL, as well as external services and payment gateways (e.g., OpenPay).
- Participate in defining and evolving microservices-based architectures.
- Implement and maintain automated tests (Jest, API testing, component testing).
- Collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies using Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks.
- Optimize code for performance, security, and maintainability.
- Document technical solutions, design decisions, and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and quality standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in production environments.
- Solid experience in frontend development with React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience in backend development with Node.js (NestJS) and/or Laravel (PHP).
- Proven experience working with REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Knowledge and experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience developing mobile applications with React Native or Ionic.
- Experience with MongoDB and/or relational databases.
- Participation in end-to-end projects (frontend, backend, and integrations).
- Strong understanding of development best practices, testing, and software design.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience integrating payment gateways such as OpenPay or similar.
- Previous experience in FinTech ecosystem projects.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and cloud deployment.
- Experience with Material UI, Sass, or Styled Components.
- Additional experience in automated testing (Jest, PyTest, or other frameworks).
