At meinMPP, we operate a B2B platform for the employee PC program—a tax advantage allowing employees to obtain modern hardware via deferred compensation. For companies, this is completely hassle-free, and for us, it means running a platform with over 2,500 products, seamless order processing, and an administrative interface that keeps operations as lean as possible for everyone involved.
We are a small, remote-first team committed to building the most modern system on the market—hosted on European infrastructure, using data minimization as an operational principle rather than a marketing phrase. Our backend stack is Laravel with Filament, Meilisearch for search, hosted on Kubernetes. We are looking for someone to not only maintain this infrastructure, but actively shape its future.
Additionally, AI is an integral component of our workflow. We expect you to comfortably leverage tools like Copilot, Claude, and similar technologies as an amplifier for your critical thinking rather than a substitute. Candidates who understand software architecture will execute faster and better using AI; those relying purely on generated code without understanding will not fit this role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our platform based on Laravel and Filament, from the shop frontend to the administrative panel.
- Build and integrate APIs to facilitate seamless collaboration with partners, distributors, and benefit platforms.
- Write maintainable, scalable code and make architectural decisions that remain sustainable long-term.
- Manage search implementation via Meilisearch and advance our ordering and processing logic.
- Expand test automation to support rapid, reliable deployment cycles.
- Utilize AI tools as a core part of your workflow to enhance problem-solving and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Multiple years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel, demonstrated through production projects.
- An autonomous work style with the drive to take ownership of initiatives independently.
- Proven ability to construct scalable, maintainable software architectures.
- Strong expertise in building and integrating APIs.
- Solid experience with automated testing practices.
