At The Hook / IKI Lab, a part of the Squirrel Media group, we are seeking a dedicated web development professional eager to transform innovative concepts into tangible digital solutions. Our media agency, recognized for its innovative approach and competitive market standing, is looking to integrate a creative, technical, and meticulous Full Stack Developer and layout designer.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in the development and layout of functional, customized websites, with a strong emphasis on WordPress. This role requires mastery of both front-end and back-end development, including API integrations, and a solid understanding of the latest industry technologies, design patterns, and optimization techniques. Responsibilities

  • Develop and design complete custom websites and applications, including those built on WordPress.
  • Develop and integrate APIs for websites and create automation solutions.
  • Customize and create bespoke WordPress plugins and themes.
  • Implement efficient and responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
  • Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintain and update existing websites.
  • Collaborate closely with teams to realize creative visions and resolve technical challenges.
  • Ensure cross-browser and mobile device compatibility.
  • Implement best SEO practices within website structures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in web development and layout.
  • Proficiency in WordPress and WooCommerce for creating and customizing plugins and themes.
  • Knowledge in API development and integration.
  • Deep knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Knowledge in applying Technical SEO practices.
  • Proficiency in PHP, JSON, jQuery.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the latest web trends and technologies.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles for creating intuitive and efficient interfaces.
