Full Stack Developer

This is a Remote Contract Opportunity for experienced Full Stack Developers, requiring East Coast time zone hours. The initial contract term is 6 months.

Overview

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Developers to join a large-scale technology team supporting a federal client. This remote contract opportunity involves working alongside a large team, primarily composed of development (80%) and DevOps (20%) engineers. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, specific project details will be shared with qualified candidates as the process advances.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across the full stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including developers, DevOps engineers, and QA.
• Participate actively in an agile development environment with regular standups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools, such as Claude Code, to enhance development speed, code quality, and overall productivity.
• Adapt quickly to existing codebases and evolving technical requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring availability during East Coast working hours.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required (no exceptions).
• Strong mid-level experience in full stack development.
• Experience with Angular (front-end) and PHP and/or Java (back-end).
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Availability to work East Coast time zone hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active or previous U.S. government security clearance.
• Prior experience working on U.S. government or federal contracts.
• Familiarity with, or willingness to actively use, Claude (Anthropic’s AI assistant) or similar AI coding tools as part of the development workflow.
• Experience working in fast-paced, large team environments (20+ team members).
