About the Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team and advance our learning platform. Working within a multidisciplinary product team (developers, QA engineers, DevOps specialists), you will design, build, and deliver features enabling organizations worldwide to create, distribute, and experience impactful digital learning.

This role requires expertise across the full technology stack, contributing to both scalable backend services and modern, responsive front-end experiences. You will help shape technical solutions, enhance system reliability and performance, and ensure the platform scales with our growing customer base. Operating within an Agile development environment, you will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver regular product iterations that create measurable customer value.

What You Will Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining scalable web applications across backend and frontend technologies, contributing high-quality code to the Learning Pool platform.
• Collaborating within a cross-functional engineering team to deliver product iterations for impactful e-learning.
• Designing and implementing robust backend services using modern development frameworks, supporting responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces.
• Writing maintainable, well-tested code using established development practices, including test-driven or behaviour-driven development.
• Working within Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, for planning, prioritizing, and delivering development work in short iterations.
• Participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design to ensure high standards of engineering quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Managing and optimizing data storage solutions using both relational and non-relational databases for platform performance and reliability.
• Collaborating closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure smooth delivery of new features.
• Continuously improving development processes, tools, and engineering practices to foster a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture.

Who We Are Looking For

• Strong full-stack development experience: Building scalable web applications with modern backend and frontend technologies, ideally including PHP frameworks (Laravel or CodeIgniter) and frontend frameworks (React).
• Commitment to engineering quality: Valuing robust, maintainable code; familiar with testing practices (TDD or BDD), version control, and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience working in Agile environments: Comfortable with Agile processes, especially Scrum, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative delivery.
• Understanding of database technologies: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases and their effective use in scalable applications.
• Strong collaboration skills: Working effectively with engineers, product managers, and designers to solve problems and deliver high-impact improvements.
• Pragmatic problem-solving mindset: Diagnosing technical challenges and developing practical solutions balancing performance, maintainability, and delivery timelines.
• Curiosity and continuous learning: A genuine interest in developing technical skills and staying current with emerging technologies.
