What You Will Do
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initial client consultation to launch and ongoing support.
- Develop web solutions using modern web tools and AI coding assistants, leveraging our comprehensive developer handbook and templates.
- Implement custom forms, email automations, payment gateways, digital sign-offs, and business dashboards.
- Provide timely and trusted support to clients, resolving issues directly within their console.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to define requirements and translate them into functional web solutions.
- Develop engaging front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, SCSS/Sass, JavaScript, Angular, and React.
- Construct robust back-end systems with technologies including PHP, Python (Django), Java (Spring Framework), .NET (ASP.NET Core), Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
- Integrate third-party APIs and web services such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and JSON.
- Manage and optimize databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Implement version control (Git, SVN) and configure CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Perform unit testing and ensure code quality using frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Visual Studio.
- Optimize websites for SEO performance and ensure accessibility compliance.
- Deploy scalable environments using Docker and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Adhere to Agile methodologies, utilizing tools such as Trello or Jira for project tracking.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in front-end development with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS/Sass, JavaScript (ES6+), AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React Native, and UI/UX principles.
- Strong experience in back-end development using PHP, Python (Django), Java (Spring Boot), C#, Ruby on Rails, or Node.js.
- Hands-on knowledge of database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQLite, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and SOAP protocols; GraphQL experience is a plus.
- Experience with Docker and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (preferred).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions); Ansible experience is a plus.
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and high-performance code; essential familiarity with TDD/Unit Testing frameworks.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments using project management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and SDLC best practices for scalable application development.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for effective team collaboration.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proven track record of building and deploying websites or web applications with a backend; portfolio, GitHub, or live links required.

- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with non-technical business owners and ensuring project follow-through.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Ability to travel to Regina, Saskatchewan, for an in-person interview and on-site training.

Interview and Training Details
- In-person interviews will be conducted in Regina, Saskatchewan. Applicants must be able to travel to Regina for the interview process.
- On-site training is mandatory and will take place in Regina, Saskatchewan. Training covers our developer handbook, templates, client console, security and privacy protocols, and project launch/support procedures.
- Following successful completion of training, this position transitions to a remote work arrangement, with client meetings conducted via video or in person as required.
Compensation Structure
This is an independent contractor, commission-based role with no fixed salary or hourly wage. Compensation is directly tied to project revenue:
- 50% of each project's setup fee, paid upon launch.
- A $1,500 bonus for self-sourced clients.
- 40% of the monthly recurring fee for all clients you continue to manage, for the duration of their engagement.
