Senior Rust Developer for E-commerce System Migration

Full remote work is possible, with occasional travel expected in the Aix-en-Provence region.

We are seeking a confirmed/senior Rust Developer for our client, a major, fast-growing e-commerce player. You will join a technical team undergoing transformation, focused on the gradual modernization of the information system (currently legacy C#.NET & PHP). The primary goal is migrating critical functionalities to a new modern, scalable, and robust foundation built on Rust.

You will be integrated into a small Agile team (4 developers) utilizing 2-week sprints and daily meetings. You will contribute to the optimization and evolutionary maintenance of flow management solutions. These solutions currently use no-code tools like Azure Data Factory and Logicap to automate CSV file generation for transferring repositories between various information systems.

Your Missions

• Contribute to the maintenance of existing data flows.
• Refactor existing no-code solutions (Azure Data Factory/Logicap) into Rust.
• Contribute to functional migrations from the legacy system to the new Rust foundation.
• Review and challenge existing workflows and databases.
• Collaborate closely with the lead developer and team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Candidate Profile

• Confirmed/Senior Rust Developer (3 to 5 years minimum experience).
• Experience with Logicap and Azure Data Factory (at least 1 year).
• Autonomous, curious, and proactive.
• Good communicator who values teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Operational technical English proficiency.
