Expert WordPress & WooCommerce Web Developer / Designer

Contract Web Developer & Designer (US Remote)

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer responsible for the coding, innovative design, and layout of our clients' websites. The ideal candidate must be an Expert in WordPress, WooCommerce, and various backend builders, such as WP Bakery, Avada, and Elementor.

This contract role requires the candidate to be located in the Continental United States and work remotely. We are seeking an individual, not an agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the entire website lifecycle, from concept all the way to completion, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.
• Design, code, and modify websites according to client specifications, striving to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices.
• Create website layouts/user interfaces utilizing standard HTML, CSS, PHP, and JAVA practices.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our sites.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues with plugins.

Required Skills & Experience

• Must be an Expert in WooCommerce and Shipping Calculations.
• Must be Efficient in WordPress and the Backend of WordPress.
• Must be knowledgeable about Page Builders such as Elementor, Avada, etc.
• Proven working experience in web programming.
• Must possess BOTH Coding and Design Skills.
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
• Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices.
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and web application development.
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics and network analytics tools.
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) process; Advanced Knowledge is a Plus.
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within timelines and budgets.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
