CE QUE VOUS FEREZ AU QUOTIDIEN

We are looking for a Backend Magento Developer to work on challenging technical projects in an Agile environment. You will collaborate closely with developers, UX/UI designers, product managers, and ERP experts to design, develop, and optimize the server-side of our Magento sites and applications. Your expertise will contribute to seamless integrations, resolving technical challenges, and delivering high-quality code.

VOS PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS

• Design and update B2B/B2C Magento sites according to precise technical specifications and defined requirements.
• Develop custom modules to properly adapt or replace existing elements within a theme, plugin, or Magento Core.
• Participate in command-line deployment processes: installing and updating plugins, compilation, static file deployment, etc.
• Implement and optimize deployment processes between development, testing, and production environments.
• Administer and configure Websites/Stores/Store Views, as well as business rules, clients, products, and their attributes.
• Perform routine Magento operations (cache management, indexing, CRON jobs, translations) via command line.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, including those related to servers, DNS, or SSL certificates.
• Participate in web server administration.
• Contribute to integrating Magento with ERP platforms (training provided on connectors used).

VOUS SEREZ PARFAITS POUR LE ROLE SI VOUS AVEZ

• Minimum 5 years of experience with the Magento platform (Magento certification is a major asset).
• Excellent command of essential web development languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Solid understanding of web interface design principles and rules, including UX/UI and Responsive Design.
• In-depth knowledge of web optimization: image compression, file minification, and combination.
• Mastery of SEO fundamentals: redirection management, metadata, H1/H2/H3 hierarchy, alt text.
• Experience with Linux commands and a good understanding of web hosting environments.
• Strong awareness of SEO issues and site performance.
• Perfect command of French and English (frequent communication with clients outside Quebec).
• Autonomy, initiative, and a results-oriented approach focused on client satisfaction.
• Strong inclination for teamwork and knowledge sharing.
