About the Position

  • Work on the development, support, and evolution of corporate applications developed in PHP.
  • Perform maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting in MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Investigate data inconsistencies, performance issues, and integration failures between applications and databases.
  • Technically support the team in incident analysis, root cause identification, and definition of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Act in the support of critical systems, ensuring stability, availability, and operational continuity.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell Script for operational process optimization.
  • Document technical solutions, procedures, integrations, scripts, and development best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements, task automation, and reduction of rework, promoting higher operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in application evolution, proposing sustainable solutions aligned with business needs.

What You Need to Have

  • Higher Education degree completed in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields.
  • Solid experience with development using PHP.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, including commands, file manipulation, permissions, processes, and log analysis.
  • Experience with Shell Script for operational routine automation.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, especially MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
  • Mastery of SQL for queries, data manipulation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in investigating technical issues in applications, integrations, and production environments.
  • Knowledge of code versioning, preferably Git.
  • Good technical documentation skills.

Differentials

  • Experience with APIs and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of web application architecture.
  • Experience with batch routines, asynchronous processing, queues, and jobs.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in development.
  • Experience with critical environments and high-availability systems.
  • Knowledge of observability, monitoring, log analysis, and performance.
  • Experience in supporting legacy systems.
  • Postgraduate degree in Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Software Development, Databases, Information Security, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Information Technology Management, or related areas.
  • Intermediate English.
