CTO / Head of Engineering

We are looking for a CTO / Head of Engineering to lead the development of a fast-growing B2B platform and build its next generation based on AI agents, automation, and intelligent workflows.

About the Role

Your tasks will include:

• leading technology and product towards an AI-native operational system,
• building and scaling the engineering team,
• designing the architecture of the next-generation platform,
• rapid prototyping and deploying AI agents in real business processes.

This is a builder role, not a "maintenance CTO".

What We Are Building

We are creating a suite of tools and systems based on:

• AI agents
• operations automation
• pricing intelligence
• logistics orchestration
• merchant tooling
• AI-assisted workflows

The platform operates pan-European, with a large transaction scale and intense growth dynamics.

Who We Are Looking For

Someone who:

• is hands-on and can quickly build prototypes,
• has experience in AI-native development and agentic systems,
• can lead a team while staying close to execution,
• thinks in terms of product and business,
• acts quickly, pragmatically, and iteratively,
• has experience in startup / scaleup environments.

Nice to have: marketplaces, operating systems, ML/AI, process automation.

Team and Technology

• Currently: 3 developers + 2 ML engineers
• Platform: custom, currently mostly PHP
• Future: open, possible migration towards Python / AI-native stack

What matters is speed, architecture quality, and product thinking, not the stack.
