We are seeking a Mid-level Backend PHP Developer to join our development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a robust and scalable SaaS platform, contributing to technical decisions, developing new features, and maintaining existing systems. We are looking for a technology enthusiast with practical backend experience who is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Create and manage MySQL databases, ensuring high performance and security.
• Implement and manage queues for efficient asynchronous processing.
• Utilize Docker containers for application standardization and portability.
• Collaborate on code reviews and technical improvements within the team.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including task refinement and estimation.
• Identify and resolve bugs, while proposing improvements for performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Solid experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Proficiency in MySQL, including advanced data modeling and optimized query writing.
• Knowledge of implementing and managing message queues (e.g., Kafka, SQS, or similar).
• Experience utilizing Docker for application development and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control (Git) and agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Node.js and Typescript.
• Experience applying SOLID principles and best practices for code design.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Experience with messaging systems or event-oriented architecture.
