Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence: Develop complex backend solutions, focusing on performance, simplicity, and maintainability.
• Mentorship & Quality: Maintain technical rigor through constructive code reviews and promoting design patterns and best practices.
• Architecture: Design structural improvements aligned with product vision, supporting the team in technical solution design.
• Observability: Monitor application performance, using data to anticipate failures and optimize system stability.
• Incident Leadership: Lead crisis resolution and post-mortem analysis to foster continuous learning from incidents.
• Strategic Refinement: Break down complex scopes into incremental deliveries that consistently add business value.
• Security-first: Proactively identify vulnerabilities and implement secure development standards (OWASP).
• Stakeholder Management: Transparently communicate risks, costs, and blockers, managing business partner expectations.

Requirements

• PHP 7.4+ & Frameworks: Advanced experience with the Laravel/Lumen ecosystem and high-performance frameworks like Swoole and Hyperf.
• Architecture & Design: Deep knowledge of Design Patterns and architectural principles for scalable, maintainable systems.
• Data & Performance: Solid experience with Relational and NoSQL Databases, focusing on modeling and query optimization.
• Code Quality: Practical experience with unit and integration tests, utilizing coverage metrics for continuous quality improvement.
• Observability: Experience maintaining real-time systems with tools like New Relic, Grafana, Opsgenie, or DataDog.
• Cloud & DevOps Ecosystem: Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and cloud services such as AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, and S3.
• Effective Communication: Ability to translate complex technical topics for diverse audiences and collaborate strategically with stakeholders.
• Autonomy & Proactivity: Ability to make informed technical decisions and swiftly identify and resolve team-impacting blockers.
