About the Position

We are seeking a Mid-level Backend Developer to contribute to the development and evolution of robust, scalable, and well-structured solutions. This role emphasizes code quality, performance, and seamless system integration. You will be part of a technical team that prioritizes best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and evolve backend applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring security, performance, and thorough documentation.
• Work with MySQL databases, including data modeling, querying, and query optimization.
• Integrate internal systems with external services and third-party APIs.
• Implement and maintain automated tests (unit and/or integration).
• Apply best development practices such as Clean Code, organized code structure, and Git version control.
• Operate within containerized environments (Docker) and Linux systems.
• Collaborate with the team on requirements analysis, technical problem-solving, and enhancing development processes.

Required Technical Skills

• Solid experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Consistent knowledge of MySQL, including database modeling and query optimization.
• Proven experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with code versioning using Git.
• Application of good code practices (e.g., Clean Code, Object Calisthenics).
• Experience with third-party API integration.
• Familiarity with Docker and Linux environments.
• Experience with automated testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Next.js and React.
• Experience with Capacitor.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Application of SOLID principles.
• Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Redis, or similar).
