Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve Backend applications using PHP and Go, applying best software engineering practices, with an initial focus on performance, availability, and scalability requirements.
- Participate in the modeling and evolution of data structures, considering query performance, information volume, and platform growth.
- Monitor application behavior in production, investigating errors, bottlenecks, performance degradations, and potential impacts on clients and users.
- Actively analyze and resolve incidents, continuously contributing to increased platform stability and availability.
- Collaborate within Product squads, providing technical contributions from solution discussion through implementation and production monitoring.
- Propose architectural, code, database, and infrastructure improvements to enhance system robustness, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications in critical environments, characterized by high availability, large request volumes, and thousands of simultaneous users.
- Minimum of 5 years of Backend development experience.
- Proficiency in PHP, Go, and JavaScript development languages.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, design patterns, and best development practices.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational and non-relational databases, considering performance, concurrency, and large data volumes.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs, with attention to performance, security, resilience, and scalability.
- Ability to analyze performance issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for high-load systems.
- Sharp logical reasoning, organizational skills, and the ability to investigate and resolve complex problems.
- Enjoys teamwork, demonstrating transparency, honesty, collaboration, and a focus on results, quality, and agility.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and tackle engineering challenges related to evolving a large-scale platform.
