Overall Purpose
The Application / Full Stack Developer plays a pivotal role in leading the design, development, maintenance, and production support for P3's innovative technology solutions, specifically within the P3 HealthHub ecosystem. This position is crucial for ensuring our web applications are highly available, performant, scalable, secure, and deliver an exceptional user experience to drive better health outcomes.
Essential Functions
- Provide comprehensive production support for all web-based applications within the P3 HealthHub environment.
- Develop and implement new features and enhancements based on user feedback and evolving product requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to thoroughly understand and refine technical requirements for new functionalities.
- Ensure the stability, reliability, and continuous availability of applications for all end users.
- Partner effectively with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to investigate, resolve, and proactively prevent software defects.
- Actively contribute to team discussions, share technical knowledge, and provide support to teammates as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Angular.js.
- Solid backend development experience utilizing technologies like Node.js, PHP, and Java.
- Expertise in building, consuming, and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write medium-complexity queries in MySQL and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with SSIS and SQL Server data ingestion pipelines.
- Experience working with Redis for caching or session management.
- Comfortable operating within various development environments such as VS Code, Azure Data Studio, and SSMS.
- Proven capabilities in debugging and troubleshooting production issues efficiently.
- Solid GUI/UX implementation skills, leveraging frameworks like Bootstrap and component libraries.
- Experience working within Agile SDLC methodologies and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into robust and scalable technical solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills, effectively working with Product, QA, and other cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of working independently when required.
Education & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required, along with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in developing web-based applications.
Salary Range
The salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $165,000, commensurate with experience.
