Functional Analyst

Description

We are looking for a functional analyst for cloud developments.

Capacity for analysis, documentation, relational data models, requirements gathering, in Java, PHP, and mobile environments. With knowledge of relational database design, data model definition, and even analysis of existing models to propose evolutions. Primarily with proven experience in relational databases. Knowledge of software development and architecture in Java and Spring environments is interesting.

Stable project in our offices in Barakaldo (post-pandemic) or fully remote at all times.

Main Functions:

• Collaborate in functional analysis and requirements gathering with the client.
• Definition of the data model or validation of the existing one in evolutions of existing applications. Experience using database access clients, data modeling programs, etc.
• Estimation of developments for proposals and collaboration in their drafting.
• Support in each phase of the software development cycle to verify that development adheres to defined procedures, processes, documentation, responsibilities, deadlines, etc.
• Coordination of application deployment in coordination with the quality team and the client.
• Liaison with the client.

Requirements:

• High level of English, C1 or higher.
• 5-7 years of demonstrable experience in functional analysis and conceptualization of medium and large IT projects, using Java/.NET/PHP technologies at an “enterprise” level, public administration, or private company.
• Must have gone through the stages of developer, analyst-programmer, and currently be a functional analyst or on the verge of becoming one.
• It is important to know relational databases, at the level of database design, database queries, etc.
• Management of development teams.
• Liaison with the client for requirements gathering, proposing solutions, status review, etc.
• Pre-sales experience.
• High capacity for teamwork and effective communication skills, both internally for coordination with other team members, developers, or other profiles, and externally for adequate communication to the different project stakeholders.
• Results and problem-solving orientation, seeking the optimal solution always considering the cost/benefit ratio.
• Autonomy and leadership.
• Recommended knowledge of database modeling and object-oriented modeling in the style of “UML” or similar.
• Recommended demonstrable knowledge of BI.
• Certifications in ITIL, Scrum Master, agile methodologies, etc.
