Agile Delivery Lead
Human Made is seeking an Agile Delivery Lead to join its global team. This is a remote position open to applicants in the Americas region, requiring EST time coverage. The role reports to the Global Delivery Lead and involves squad leadership responsibility.
The Agile Delivery Lead will balance project delivery with strategic team leadership, guiding distributed teams to deliver exceptional WordPress-based projects for enterprise clients. You will ensure delivery processes are efficient, transparent, and continuously improving, enabling your squad to perform at its best. Key responsibilities include client engagement, delivery planning, and cross-functional collaboration, aligning business needs with agile principles. You will foster a culture of trust, empowerment, and continuous improvement, aligning the squad with Human Made’s values and monitoring performance. Collaboration with Engineering and Commercial teams is essential for smooth project and squad operations. You will proactively identify and address problems, escalating when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Applying Scrum to produce high-quality work.
- Managing project scope and timeline.
- Creating and maintaining a team culture of shared responsibility for successful delivery.
- Guiding and coaching the team on agile framework principles and practices.
- Collaborating with the squad to define and refine project scope, estimates, and resource requirements.
- Preparing and facilitating workshops for project needs and relationships.
- Facilitating meetings to monitor project progress and resolve team issues.
- Removing impediments or guiding the team in their removal.
- Assessing and communicating the time and financial impact of scope changes to stakeholders.
- Identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
- Determining when to use experiments for learning and solutioning.
- Being commercially aware, understanding and reporting on project budgets.
- Managing allocation of project needs in conjunction with squad composition.
- Facilitating engagement with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
- Building partnership relationships with clients, understanding their business imperatives.
- Understanding the workings and needs of the partnered account.
- Acting as a leading member of the squad or team.
- Communicating regularly and proactively addressing difficult conversations.
- Managing interactions with clients and internal teams professionally and personably.
- Using data to enable critical decisions for the team and business.
- Developing creative and technical judgment, striving for high-quality output.
- Sharing progress and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducting team reviews and retrospectives for continuous improvement.
- Presenting appropriate metrics to sustain continuous improvement and optimize team performance.
- Reporting progress, team status, and issues across the board.
Requirements:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or similar qualifications are desirable.
- Experience in a scrum master / agile delivery role.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, multi-project environments, adapting quickly and context-switching effectively while maintaining focus on delivery goals and team alignment.
- Experience applying scrum, with a broader awareness of agile principles and a data-driven mindset.
- Experience working in an enterprise agency environment and/or hands-on expertise with Scrum practices.
- Strong skills in servant leadership, negotiation, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and promoting transparency.
- Ability to negotiate and adapt project scope in response to change.
- Strategic and driven mindset.
- Experience using a wide range of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence, Operating) for budget/time tracking and issue tracking, with the knowledge to recommend appropriate tools.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts.
- Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., WordPress, PHP, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, version control systems) and hosting/deployment best practices.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, dependent on location and experience.
